Hi! My name is Rebeka, and I’m a Visual Arts student currently based in Victoria. I was born and raised in Bratislava, Slovakia, which is also where my first language, Slovak, comes from. I originally came to Victoria over three years ago as an exchange student, but I enjoyed my time here so much that I decided to stay!
Art has always been a big part of my life in one form or another. I enjoy drawing, photography, and digital work, and I’m especially interested in graphic design. I’m excited to continue developing my skills and hope to work in a creative field in the future.
Outside of art, I love traveling and trying new things, especially activities that push me out of my comfort zone. Animals are also very important to me, I grew up around them, and my dog and cats are currently waiting for me back home:)
This blog will be a space for my work, ideas, and exploration throughout this course.
